Last week I had the pleasure to photograph a breakfast that was held at Moxie’s at Bayshore in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF). Seniors who are part of the mall walking program were all invited to a tasty breakfast and encouraged to join in the CBCF CIBC Run for the Cure on October 2, 2011.
A special thanks to the staff at Moxie’s Classic Grill and to Bayshore Mall General Manager Denis Pelletier and to Paul and Jennifer for sharing their stories with us. And to Wendy Leung of Beyond Events for bringing us all together.
For the last three years I have run the Run for the Cure, in support of friends that have battled breast cancer and are proud survivors. This year, I am joining together with Amy Symes the official photographer, to capture the beauty that is October 2nd. I hope to see you out there, running or walking in support of someone you know of for the future, so that one day we don’t have to walk or run because there won’t be breast cancer anymore.
