Run for the Cure – Ottawa Event Photographer

Run for the Cure – Ottawa Event Photographer

Last weekend I was part of a team of photographers that were blessed to capture the CBCF Run for the Cure here in Ottawa. It was estimated that 9000 people came out to either walk or run in support of Breast Cancer. I normally run, but I felt this year that I could share the experience more by taking pictures.

If you have never been, you should try to go next year. If you can’t run, walk or just watch what is going on, it is truly something to be experienced. The energy, the laughter, the tears, the emotions it is all there. I cry when I am there running and apparently I cry when I am there shooting as well.

The Survivor Photo. These women melted my heart.
