Let me introduce to you Armed with Poles. Armed with Poles is a Nordic walking team who have come together to raise money in the fight against cancer. They are gearing up for Ottawa’s Race Weekend where they will be Nordic Walking the 10K, this is the second year that Armed with Poles has participated in the Ottawa Race Weekend.
I had the pleasure of photographing them while they were receiving their bright orange jerseys and heading out for a training walk of the course. What a wonderful group of athletes. The smiles were bright, the energy was amazing and I was only sorry I didn’t have some poles to join them in their walk.
