I feel so blessed when I get the opportunity to photograph a precious Newborn. The sweet smell of a new baby, so tiny and new. Isla was a treasure to photograph, she was already nine days old here but so teeny compared to my own two children, to me there is something so beautiful and special about a tiny new life. Bringing with her so much joy to her parents and the entire family. Babies change so quickly that before you know it Isla will be rolling and sitting up and then, walking.
I couldn’t resist capturing her tiny hands, feet and lips, so beautiful and perfect as perfect can be.
We had to be sure to capture the whole family, pup included. Such a well mannered member of the family, she made sure I was worthy of being allowed to meet Isla, then stuck close by just in case I needed a reminder.
Mom is originally from Winnipeg, so it was only fitting that Isla be sent her first Winnipeg Jets Hockey Jersey. And although a little bit big for her, I think she will be a happy hockey fan as she grows up, although she may have to cheer a little loud to be heard over the cheers from Dad for the Maple Leafs.
Thank you to Charnelle and Jim for welcoming me into your home and capturing your beautiful Isla. I was honored to have the privilege and I look forward to seeing her grow in the years to come.
If you or someone you know is pregnant and would like to book a newborn session, please contact me as soon as possible so we can fit you in the schedule.
I love baby shots, they are like this for such a small time!
Great Job Anna!
Thank you Sharon, I treasure my own children’s newborn photos so it means a lot for me to provide them for others.
