Today I had the wonderful opportunity to meet C&B for an engagement shoot. The couple wanted to go to MacKenzie King Estate for their photos and I have to say it was a fabulous choice. Although not super cold out today, the wind whipped around the top of the mountain/hill making it seem much colder than it really was. The sun came out, there was fresh snow on the ground and it was a beautiful morning for photos.
Having never been to MacKenzie King Estate in the Winter before, I have to say it is just lovely. The ruins stand out against the white snow and although there were other people cross country skiing on the trails, we really didn’t run into anyone other than in the parking lot. We had the Estate to ourselves.
And just look at how much in love these two are! What a beautiful couple both inside and out. If it hadn’t been quite so cold, I am sure I could have photographed them all day long.
We tried to stop in at the Chelsea Pub, but we were a wee bit early for lunchtime so we sat outside on their porch instead.
Thank you to C&B for allowing me to capture your engagement. I had a truly wonderful time with you this morning.
