iPhone Photography ~ the visual guide by Alli Worthington

iPhone Photography ~ the visual guide by Alli Worthington

My good friend Alli Worthington has come out with a fabulous book that I just have to share with you all.  As a photographer who carries around lots of big equipment, I will be the first to tell you that some days, I just want to leave the cameras at home and enjoy. This is when I take out my iPhone and capture what is around me. I am not going to try to pretend that my iPhone is better than my Nikon, but I will admit that sometimes I am happy to just have that photo than to not have it at all.  In addition to loving the camera that is with you, you need to learn how to use it to your best advantage.  I have several favorite apps that I use and I truly love sharing what I am doing using my iPhone and hope that you all enjoy it too.

Alli’s book, iPhone Photography ~ the visual guide, is amazing. It offers tips and tricks on getting better photos with your iPhone. Offers explanations for some of the apps out there, which ones are free and which ones cost a little and why you should pay for a few to get better results.  If you don’t or haven’t started using Instagram, this will help you figure it out.

This is the era of sharing photos of everything you are doing and everything around you with all of your friends, wouldn’t you like to know you are getting the best photo out there possible? Alli’s book will help you with that. No more bland photos! Now you will get punchy, colourful photos that you will be proud to share and may be amazed when you find yourself printing them out. I have several of my iPhone photos printed and hung on the walls of our house. Moments in time captured only because I had my phone with me.

iPhone Photography ~ the visual guide is currently only available through Alli’s store and only costs $5.00 US. This is an amazing price for such an amazing book. One that you can take with you on your eReader, iPhone or on your computer. Time to get better pictures out there and iPhone Photography is the best place to start.

I will leave you with a few of my photos from our recent trip to Delaware, again, they only happened because I had my phone with me. (I currently use Camera+ and Instagram filters for all my photos on my iPhone).
