Mom Café – Ottawa Event Photographer

This morning, I had the opportunity to attend and photograph the second event put on by Mom Café Ottawa.  Mom Café started in British Columbia and was brought to Ottawa by Tara Azulay.  Today the event was held at the Great Canadian Theatre Company and we were given the pleasure of hearing Andrea Tompkins and Sara-Lynn Levine speak. Both ladies gave us insight to being involved in the Media as Moms, how they started and grew their businesses through blogs and social media.

A nice turnout for the event this morning at the Great Canadian Theatre Company.  The sun was shining bright, which made it a bit difficult to see at certain points, but I for one was thankful to have the gorgeous sunshine, knowing what is just around the corner.

Children are most welcome at Mom Café, sitting services today were provided by In A Pinch daycare services. It was lovely to know that if I wanted to I could have brought my children with me. They played, did crafts were provided with snacks and more.

And for another fun addition, Bling Jewellery was in attendance.  With a table to show their gorgeous jewellery.
