I had the beautiful pleasure to attend STONEFIELD’S open house last night, and not only was it a gorgeous evening, but the venue was dressed in all it’s finery. I have only had the pleasure once to shoot a wedding as the second photographer at this beautiful location and it is truly an amazing place to get married. If only we had that choice 15 years ago, my husband and I would have surely gotten married here.
At one point last evening, I may have been sitting on a gorgeous chair out by the barn, glass of wine in hand and chatting with some amazing vendors, when I pulled out my phone and texted my husband a photo of my surroundings, with the text, “wish you were here”. Light music was drifting around us, thanks to Quality Entertainment. The smell of flowers in the air, thanks to Mill Street Florist, delicious appetizers from Thyme & Again, The Mixing Bowl and Temple’s and Taste and sweet cupcakes thanks to Sarah J’s Cupcakes. It was truly an amazing evening. And since I have seen the venue during an actual wedding, I can truly say that it is no different on that day as well. The staff at STONEFIELD’S is amazing, polite and you almost don’t notice they are there so you can just enjoy your day knowing that everything is being taken care of for you.
I should also add that STONEFIELD’S is not just a venue for weddings but for events as well, they have a large tented area, a pool where cocktails are served and grounds that are lush and beautiful. If you are looking for that perfect spot for a gorgeous country wedding or event, look no further. Stephanie and Steve are the perfect couple to host this amazing venue, and their love for the property and what they do really shines through when you meet them, they are truly the hosts you want to attend to your day.
