Featuring another Family from our Fall Sessions. This one is special and dear to my heart. The gorgeous Mom you see in the photos was one of my younger sisters best friends growing up. We lived across the street from each other and spent lots of time together in our younger years. Seeing her with her together with her family is always a pleasure.
Her daughter has grown up into such a beautiful lady, and each time we get together, I enjoy meeting up with her boyfriend, who is a lovely gentleman even when we make him wake up really early for a session. Her boys are growing like weeds as well, the last time I photographed them was a couple of years ago and they are certainly taller and growing up into young gentlemen. Before you know it I will be meeting their girlfriends as well! Hubby is a great guy too, putting up with my direction and asking for smiles. I think we did great. A huge thank you to the M Family, for getting up early on a Sunday morning (well, before lunchtime) and for allowing me to capture your gorgeous family.
As children get older it isn’t always as fun to get the family photos done, they don’t always appreciate that even though they don’t want a photo framed on their wall that others in the family won’t either. My own Father in Law asks for only one thing each Christmas. New family photos. So no matter how busy we are we make sure to take the time out to capture our growing family. Like the mechanic the photographer is always the last to get things done. Not this year, we planned early and made sure to get our holiday photos done in my favorite season, Summer.
