One very fine, albeit a bit windy, morning in May I had the pleasure of capturing this beautiful lady in my new studio. She was the first one to christen the gorgeous light and test out all that is new. I couldn’t have asked for a more fitting beauty to share a morning with. Her mother and I are great friends and I have captured her family moments in the last year or so. Given the opportunity to spend a morning with just Darby was priceless. Her warm and giving smile is true to her nature, she is such an amazing young lady and I know that she has many fabulous opportunities ahead of her.
We captured both her casual side as well as her more formal side, and for those of you who only know Darby as casual, I tell you, put her in a fabulous dress and she just shines through. We truly enjoyed our morning and once we were finished in the studio, I asked Darby if she would like to head outside.
Not only did she head outside with me, she donned a tutu and we had a blast. There may have been some frolicking in the fields and some laughter and a lot of wind, but all in all it was a fabulous morning. Thank you to Darby, for letting me capture her beauty and for having lots of fun laughing with me in a tutu, no less.
